STRENGTH FOR THE BODY AND MIND

Our group exercise sessions are always a great reflection of the positive Move HQ community. We limit group size so that our participants can receive valuable coaching and feedback, consequently meaning they get a huge amount from their efforts.

 

We’ve raised the bar of traditional group exercise – don’t get lost in the crowd.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

 

STRENGTH: We’ve blended all manner of resistance based activities to provide a unique training experience. A coached strength training base is supplemented with power activities and a cheeky metabolic finisher make this a great option for general fitness.

TRX: We are a TRX training Centre and we’ll show you why our rig and set up is unrivalled. Our coaches will show you how to make the most out of suspension training equipment. 

METCON: Time to work. A diverse group session involving anything and everything. Sprint down the track, toss medicine balls, push our sleds, lunge across the turf, jump, curl and lift your way through a great workout. 

ENGINE ROOM: A targeted aerobic session allowing you to burn body fat at the most optimal intensity and develop your fitness capacity. Stoke the flames.

MIND, MOBILITY, MOVE

CORE & MOBILITY: You can’t have one without the other. Uninhibited movement requires a central stability and control proficiency described by the term core.

Postural alignment and integrity provide the opportunity to be mobile around the bodies many joints. Mobility is vital for pain free efficient human movement.

 

PILATES: Mat based class focussing on re-aligning and strengthening postural musculature, taking the opportunity to develop flexibility in our stunning Studio space.

HATHA YOGA: Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

VINYASA YOGA - Encourages you to embrace a state of flow. This yoga class is dynamic, explorative and challenging. Incorporating creative sequencing, anatomical focus areas and traditional teachings, it’s the hallmark of intelligent asana.

WORKSHOPS

Knowledge is power, information fuels successful behaviours.

The decisions and habits we adopt away from ‘the gym’ dictate results. Upskill your nutrition, sleep, recovery, lifestyle, breathing and planning directives with our Workshops in the Move HQ Seminar room. 

 

Broaden your understanding of these puzzle pieces that are integral to your success.

Our practical workshops and clinics give you the opportunity to absorb specific coaching and consolidate your acquirement of new skill sets.

Time to expand and consolidate your movement vocabulary. Spend some time to upskill your squats, lunges, Olympic Lifting, hinge movements, pushing, pressing, pulling and twisting. The coaching team will provide instruction and feedback providing you with the opportunity to refine your movement and make the small changes that could have significant benefits.

Alongside these ‘weight room’ focused sessions we also deliver performance orientated athletic clinics. Come along and join our speed, agility and power sessions to maximise your athletic potential.

RECOVER

 

Make sure you are ready for your next training session, match or competition. Using various equipment, practices and strategies push your recovery on to ensure you are in the best possible place for the next activity.

As well as a host of kit on the gym floor we have a recovery zone where you can put our massage guns through there paces or use our Hyperice Normatec recovery boots with a view of the gym below.

ALTER G: Fast track your rehabilitation with the latest Alter G treadmill using NASA Differential Air Pressure Technology. Facilitate recovery and treatment of acute and chronic conditions in this state of the art machine including live video feedback and automated body weight adjustments in 1% increments.
